Our preschool stands out despite maintaining a low profile because of the following factors:
- We have well planned and comprehensive school syllabus that include preparing the pre-school child ultimately for his primary school education ahead. We keep abreast of the current development in the Ministry of Education syllabus and ensure that our programmes are kept current. This way we can help prepare our children to adjust to their eventual primary school environment. However we do not just emphasize on academic strength but also the social and emotional needs of the child to adjust to primary school.
- Qualified and Experience teachers who are Montessori trained (we call them Directress). Our pre-school directress set good examples for the children, observe and encourage them in their quest for growth and reinforce good values and behaviors in them. For this purpose Ripples Montessori intentionally keep a low teacher to student ratio compared to other similar schools.
- Carefully prepared learning environment. Being a Montessori school we plan our school environment to meet the child’s need for self-discovery. Every child has a natural and latent talent to develop physical and intellectual skills on his own and at his own pace if given the right environment.
At Ripples we encourage exercises to develop the young child’s motor skills to care for self and environment. We also emphasize on social skills and etiquette. |
