Zycosil is the only water soluble product in the world that is used for waterproofing of masonry building material. Zycosil provides all three most desired properties. It is nano technology, since it provides molecular level hydrophobicity to inorganic substrate. It is eco-friendly, because it is applied in water solution and VOC per applied ft2 is less than 20% compared to similar technology which is solvent based. The product is based on organosilicon chemistry, hence reacts with the inorganic substrate surface and provides long service life. The nano size of Zycosil allows penetration deep into substrate that provides 20+ years water repellency. This product is very economical, the material cost 10-20 % cost of solvent based silane technology. Zycosil and its diluted solution are non flammable and easy to apply using paint brush, roller or airless spray. No special tools or precautions are necessary to handle the product.
 
Rain water seeps into the building through pores & micro-cracks.
Micro film formers can only form a surface film over the structure. They cannot penetrate into masonry pores, due to their large particle size.
Wind erosion, UV exposure and thermal degradation destroy the surface film & develop micro cracks, leading to renewed water absorption.
Nano technology & penetrative ability allow Zycosil to penetrate into cementitious pores of 5-10 nanometers making them water repellant.

Zycofil is a nano polymer dispersion (10-20 nm); used for sealing micro cracks & nano pores in Slabs, Cement/ Asbestos Sheets, Water Storage Tanks & Cement Pipes. Zycofil enhances the water prooffing property of Zycosil treated surfaces by filling up or sealing microcracks or nano pores; and is recommeneded to be used with Zycosil.

Specially Formulated for Improving the Bondage of Concrete Mixture / New Plaster on Zycosil Treated Surfaces.
 
 
Application of Zycosil creates a hydrophobic (water repellant) surface. Wetting and bonding of any cementitious mixture on this surface is difficult. To ensure proper wetting & bonding of tiles/ cement joints/ plastering, Zycosil treated surfaces will need a bonding agent. Zycoprime forms a fine film on the Zycosil treated surface. This helps the adherence of cement & sand/ gravel mixtures on this surface.

Zycoprime is applied on a Zycosil treated surface, by brush. Zycoprime treated surface is allowed to dry at an amient temperature. Cement mixture is applied after the surface is completely dry. Zycoprime treated surface gives best adhesion to freshly prepared cement mixture.
